This is a great way to for kids to make a display/frame out of a picture they’ve drawn or some kind of document, like a poem and you can proudly display your picture on the wall.
We did this for a large group of kids so they would have a keepsake to take home from an activity.  We had one table with all of the decorations on it, like sticker and silk flowers so that they could go and choose what they wanted.  The silk flowers were a hit.  They all got to take home a personalized message from our activity.

Supplies for Wall Display/Banner:

  • Thin wooden dowels (you can find these at a home improvement store)
  • Ribbon
  • Decorative paper that is larger than the document you want to display
  • Items to decorate, like foam stickers, glitter, silk flowers, markers…
  • Glue

    To Make Wall Display/Banner Craft:

    • Cut dowel a few inches longer than the decorative paper you are using
    • Wrap top part of decorative paper around dowel and glue
    • Cut enough ribbon to tie on each end and for hanging, tie the ribbon onto each side of the dowel
    • Glue your document to the middle of the decorative paper
    • Decorate with foam stickers, glitter, silk flowers or markers!
