You can make cute finger puppets using Craft Foam Sheets. Try making this Foam Butterfly Finger Puppet. You can also make this as a pencil/pen top decoration by simply making the body more narrow to fit a pencil instead of a finger. Try this caterpillar puppet to make a bug puppet show!

Supplies for Foam Butterfly Finger Puppets:
- Craft Foam Sheets
- Pom Pom
- Pipe Cleaner
- Googly Eyes
- Glue/Low-Temp Glue Gun
To Make a Foam Butterfly Finger Puppet:
- For the body, cut out a square from a craft foam sheet that is wide enough to wrap around your finger plus about ½ inch. (NOTE: If you are making a pencil topper instead of a finger puppet then make it wide enough to wrap around a pencil.)
- Glue the square in a cylindrical shape, making sure your finger can fit in. Using a glue gun will speed things up, but you can also use any kind of craft glue, you will just need to tape it to hold the shape until it dries.
- Glue a pom pom to the top of the cylinder to make the head. Glue on the eyes. Use a pipe cleaner to make the antennae and glue on the head. Let dry.
- Cut the out wings out of a craft foam sheet. Use other colored craft foam to decorate the wings.
- Glue the Wings onto the body and let dry.
