This butterfly is made from felt with a clothespin for the body. It's a really easy craft for kids to do. There are so many ways that they could decorate this felt butterfly, that each child can really personalize their own. It's also a easy craft to do with a group of kids. You could decorate it after you put the clothespin body on if you don't want to wait for drying time before finishing the craft (if you need a craft for a group of kids to be finished all in one sitting)

Supplies Needed to make a Felt Butterfly:
- Felt
- Clothespin (the kind you slide on, NOT the kind that you squeeze to open)
- Decorations - jewels, stickers, glitter, lace, beads, etc)
- Thin marker/Pen and Pencil
- Glue
- Scissors
- Small dessert plate (or some other circle to use for a template)
Directions to make a Felt Butterfly:
- Place a small dessert plate on your Felt upside down and trace around it with a pencil

- After you are done tracing the circle, cut it out
- Decorate the felt circle, making sure to not decorate down the middle where you will put on the clothespin

- When you are done decorating and after it's dry, put the Clothespin down the middle of your circle
